Algotrade 2024

Take a look at a fraction of the atmosphere from last years hackathon. 100 competitors, industry experts and members of the media gathered in Hotel Zonar in Zagreb to celebrate science and making money.

Algotrade 2023

Algotrade 2023 started as a small idea and grew into a large event. 100 competitors from Croatia competed in the first edition of the hackathon. The event was held in Stablo znanja in Zagreb, where students had the opportunity to learn from industry experts and compete for a prize pool of 1000 euros.

International participants - don't worry about where to stay! We've got you covered with free accommodation from June 14th to 16th at the stylish Zonar Hotel, right in the heart of Zagreb.

Organizers

X.FER

X.FER, a student association at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing was established with the aim of conducting 'Competitive Programming' skills at FER. Since then our mission has grow to not just include algorithmic competitions, but also competitions in Cybersecurity, GameJams, Robotics and IT Pub Quizes. We both compete in and organize these events and are now organizing 10 different competitions, 2 classes at FER and a conference. The club's membership includes former competitors and Olympians, and currently, the association has around fifteen active members and more than fifty honorary members.

EESTEC

The Electrical Engineering Sudents' European Association (EESTEC) is an international organization operating in 21 countries across 48 universities, comprising over 5,000 members. EESTEC LC Zagreb, established in 2008, is a local branch with more than 100 active members. It offers students opportunities to develop skills in areas like corporate relations, IT, design, finance, human resources, and public relations. EESTEC LC Zagreb also organizes several STEM related workshops for students throughout the year. The organization aims to provide practical experience and foster international collaboration among students in the STEM field.
